Some Simple Tips For Remodeling the Bathroom
One of the biggest things that I think about since we are thinking about remodelling our bathroom is our bathroom showers. Why is that? Maybe because having a good shower, with all the necessary room is important to me. Or maybe it’s because the shower, or lack thereof, is one of the first things that I notice about someone’s bathroom.
We have been shopping for bathroom stuff in the last several months for our remodelling project, and we have come to the conclusion that there are a lot of choices for showers and bathtubs out there! They have everything from the traditional bathtub and shower, combined, to a jacuzzi-type bathtub and separate shower stall. We don’t really have room for the separate shower, but I don’t want to give up my bathtub either, because there are just some days when a hot bath is just what the doctor ordered. Choosing a bathtub and bathroom shower is kind of like choosing what color to paint the bathroom. There are a lot of choices out there, and you can’t make a snap decision on it, unless of course you don’t want to be happy with your new bathroom.
Once you make the final decision on the bathtub and shower, then you need to remember to think about coordinating towel racks and shower curtains and such, as well as trying to avoid the paint color, you choose, from clashing too badly with the rest of your decor. One of the best things you can do for your bathroom is probably to make sure the paint or wallpaper is going to match the curtains and the shower curtain. I tend to like the more neutral, go-with-anything colors for my paint, as well as my towels and such.
All in all, remodelling a bathroom is a major project, if it’s going to be done right. My advice: Take your time making those final decisions!
